ELENA DUMITRESCU

High school literature teacher from Brașov, a picturesque city nestled in the heart of Transylvania, with a deep appreciation for Romanian poetry, especially the works of Lucian Blaga and George Coșbuc, Elena inspires her students to explore the beauty of the Romanian language. Outside of the classroom, she enjoys baking traditional Romanian desserts like cozonac and papanași, and volunteering at local cultural festivals. Elena is excited to share her linguistic expertise, offering insights into Romanian grammar and pronunciation to help learners feel at home in her language.

ANDREI CIOBANU

38-year-old software developer from Iași, a historic city in northeastern Romania. He is passionate about technology and Romanian traditions, often blending the two by developing apps that teach users about Romanian culture and history. In his free time, Andrei enjoys hiking in the Carpathian Mountains, reading classic Romanian literature such as works by Mihai Eminescu, and playing the nai (a traditional Romanian pan flute). His love for his native language drives his enthusiasm to help others learn Romanian, and he believes understanding the language is the key to fully experiencing the country's rich heritage.
